TL;DR
Problem
A Product Nobody Trusted
miniOrange had a technically strong product, but the brand couldn't communicate that quality. IT decision-makers arrived sceptical and left without converting.
Project Description
The Brief
The miniOrange rebrand reimagines the company's presence across three, a redesigned website, a modular visual assets library, and a scalable conference system, turning an overlooked vendor into a brand enterprise buyers confidently choose.

Traffic Growth
60K → 198K visitors. Rebuilt IA and visual identity turned bounce-heavy traffic into qualified pipeline.

Better-fit leads entering the sales pipeline. Problem-first homepage messaging filtered out misaligned prospects early.

Bounce Rate
Visitors found what they needed. Progressive disclosure and clearer IA reduced immediate exits across all key pages.
WHAT WENT WRONG FOR THE USERS
Key Issues List
Overwhelming information -
Everything shown at once, nothing prioritized
Feature-first, not benefit-first
Technical specs instead of outcomes
No guided journey
Users left to figure it out themselves
No trust building
Lacked social proof and clear differentiation
The Decision That Changed Everything
miniOrange's navigation reflected how the company was built, not how it needed to grow. The header listed 12+ platform-specific solutions, WordPress SSO, Atlassian SSO, Shopify SSO, as top-level navigation items. For a new enterprise buyer evaluating an IAM platform, it was disorienting. We looked like a plugin shop, not a security company.
I proposed consolidating into six items: Products, Plugins, Pricing, Resources, Company, and Customers. Products first. IAM front and center.
The CEO pushed back hard. I came back with three presentations, session data showing enterprise drop-off, competitor benchmarks, and a revenue projection. The restructure shipped. Enterprise lead quality improved the following quarter.
Strategic Diagnosis
How Leadership Saw The Brand
"A powerful suite of tools for every platform"
Plugin-first. Feature-rich. Proven revenue.
How Enterprise Buyers Experienced It
"I can't tell what this company actually does"
Overwhelming. Unclear. Hard to trust.
Research approach
METHOD 01
Live Setup Call Observation
Watched IT admins configure SSO in real time. No intervention. Just observation.
METHOD 02
Session Recording Analysis
Studied users navigating the product alone. Tracked where confidence dropped.
KEY INSIGHT
"The problem wasn't complexity. It was language."
Users weren't confused because SAML is hard. They were confused because the interface spoke protocol, not admin.
FINAL DESIGNS & WHAT CHANGED
Three projects. One system. One direction.
Each surface built to reinforce the others. Consistency became structural, not accidental.

What happens when setup feels like failure
I redesigned SSO onboarding as a guided wizard, plain language, one decision at a time. Then proposed a sandbox environment so clients could complete setup without touching real infrastructure. Enterprise setup time dropped 74%. For the first time, clients could configure independently.

MY LEARNINGS
The work required navigating ambiguity,
experimenting early, and treating inconsistency
as the real enemy.
01
Trust must come before intelligence
Buyers judge the brand before reading a feature. Get the foundation right first.

What My Colleagues Say
Design doesn't happen in isolation. Here's what the people who worked alongside me developers, managers, and team leads, had to say about the collaboration.
"Nachiket focused on revamping the entire marketing site as well as different marketing materials—Email templates, Social media posts, Brochures, Documents, and Presentations. His design work perfectly portrayed the company's products and values through seamless, unified design, helping us double our queries within three months of his joining."
-Swati Gupta & Pratish Ray (Team Leads)
"Despite being new to the development and testing environment, Nachiket remained undeterred when he faced challenges like Responsive Issues, effectively networked with his seniors to resolve the issue, and showcased quick learning and problem-solving abilities."
-Pranit Bagmar (Front-End Lead)
"His exceptional ability to transform complex ideas into visually compelling and user-friendly designs has consistently impressed our clients, exceeding our expectations. Nachiket's marketing material is among the best I've witnessed in the industry, a remarkable achievement considering his junior designer status."
-Dr. Gaurav Bansod (Technical Program Manager)
